La Morra I Piemont I Italy Elio Altare
Elio Altare and his winegrowing estate, which bears the same name, has rightly assumed the role of pioneer. Elio Altare has even been described by some as a wine legend in Piedmont. Today, with his daughters, Silvia und Elena, he runs his winegrowing estate with a great deal of consistency, particularly out in the vineyard. The yields today are still exceptionally small, yet the quality is very high. His red wines, with the Barolo leading the way, are internationally regarded as top-class and regularly achieve the highest ratings.

Founded in 1859, the winery has been run by Angelo Gaja in the 4th generation since 1961. He is one of Italy’s best-known winemakers internationally and has been honoured as “Man of the Year” by “Decanter” and “Winespectator” several times. No winemaker has won the coveted “Tre Bicchieri” from Gambero Rosso as often as he has. At Wein am Berg, his elder daughter Gaia Gaja will represent the winery and introduce us to the exciting world of Gaja wines!

Ferrari Trento, founded in 1902 by Giulio Ferrari in Trento, is Italy’s leading luxury sparkling wine. The Lunelli family has been running the company since 1952. Excellence entails loyalty to the Metodo Classico as the sole production method and to Trentino, with its exceptional mountainous terroir, as the preferred vineyard location. Ferrari exports its sparkling wines to over 50 countries as a symbol of Italian art of living, accompanying the most significant moments in the worlds of public life, culture, entertainment, and sports.

MÖLTEN I SOUTH TYROL I ITALY ARUNDA
Europe’s highest sparkling wine cellar is located in Mölten in South Tyrol: ARUNDA produces 130,000 bottles a year using the classic method at 1,200 metres above sea level. The ARUNDA family works with winegrowers at various altitudes who cultivate classic grape varieties such as Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The different sites produce the raw wines, which are assembled as high-quality sparkling wines in various cuvées. Wolfgang Tratter, long-time cellar master and oenologist at the St. Pauls Winery as well as a well-known face of our PINO 3000, managing director of ARUNDA, will continue to develop the sparkling wine winery with his ideas and experience.

Elsass & Corbieres I FRANCE Wine estate Ruhlmann-Schutz
The Ruhlmann-Schutz family has been cultivating their love of viticulture since 1688. Today, the vineyard extends over 50 hectares, including two Grands Crus. There is a balance between tradition and modernity here that you can taste. The young generation also offers a trip to the Languedoc with the wines of Château Valmont. A love of nature and emotions is also very important. For André and his son Jacques-Emile, wine is the perfect reflection of the temperament of the person who creates it. For this reason, they work their vineyards with the same passion every day.

The passion for this estate began 120 years ago and continues today under the direction of Jean-François Ott. In 2004, Domaines Ott* became part of the legendary Louis Roederer champagne house. Together, they manage three unique vineyards: Château de Selle, Clos Mireille and Château Romassan. Each estate has its own character and proudly produces elegant rosé, red and white wines. Their cellars hold a true treasure: the famous “Cœur de Grain”.

The family cultivates 21 hectares of vineyards, 85% of which are planted with Riesling and 15% with Burgundy. The traditional steep slopes of Bockenauer Felseneck and Stromberg, Monzinger Halenberg and Frühlingsplätzchen, Schlossböckelheimer Felsenberg and Kupfergrube with their different rock soils form the basis for distinctive, authentic wines. The symbiosis of ripe Riesling fruit and the minerality typical of the site gives the wines their typical complexity and independent character.

APETLON I BURGENLAND I AUSTRIA Wine estate Velich
The Velich Vineyard established in 1933 is located in Austrian Apetlon, rooted in the breathtaking natural landscape of Neusiedlersee-Seewinkel national park in Burgenland. Heinz Velich, who was named ‘Wine grower of the year’ in 2012 by Falstaff Magazin, grows his wine with much devotion and is in charge of the family business, which has specialised in varieties of white wine. On a total of 10 hectares of winegrowing area you’ll find renowned grape varieties combined with a long tradition, such as Chardonnay, Welschriesling, Muscat-Ottonel and Bouvier. The Velich winery is particularly famous for its multiple award-winning Chardonnay ‘TIGLAT’.

WÖSENDORF | AUSTRIA Wine estate Rudi Pichler
A fixture in Wösendorf since 1731, the family dedicate themselves to viticulture, cultivating fifteen hectares of vineyard. Rudi Pichler, a renowned vintner in the Wachau region, cultivates characterful white wines from various sites, including Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Pinot Blanc and Red Veltliner. His wines are characterized by varietal character and terroir expression. The Federspiel Grüner Veltliner and the great Smaragde are particularly outstanding, made by Rudi Pichler and the next generation. The Pichler series is characterized by minerality, tautness and depth.

The multi award-winning Bründlmayer Winery is located in the south-east Waldviertel area in Lower Austria, at the lower end of Kamptal and inspires wine connoisseurs from across the globe with the best quality Austrian wine. Willi Bründlmayer manages the 80 hectare vineyard together with son Vincent, Thomas Klinger and Andres Wickhoff, with a great deal awareness of the concept of sustainability. It is not without reason that the vineyard has received the “Winery of the Year“ (Wine & Spirits, USA) award 6 times. Willi Bründlmayer was also t he first ‘Winegrower of the Year’ listed by Falstaff Magazine.

Franz and Irmgard Hirtzberger today manage the Austrian quality vineyard Franz Hirtzberger together with their family in the fifth generation. The long-standing vineyard is located in the universally known Wachau winegrowing area in Lower Austria and has achieved considerable success globally. On cropland of 25 hectares, the Hirtzberger family produces top-class wines which are causing quite a stir. Their wines repeatedly achieve top-ratings and countless awards. The terraced vineyards Singerriedel lead the way, which yield a fabulous Riesling and are known among wine lovers as a flagship for best quality.
